❤️For many of us, this WORD holds a certain place in our hearts.

💔😢Today marks the 1 year anniversary that my neighbor (my husband’s best friend) took his life. We were aware of his struggles. We helped him overcome addiction. We referred counselors. But we could not fix him alone. He needed professional help that we just couldn’t give him and that he didn’t have the courage to seek himself. Mental illness runs deep and takes so much time to heal; while no one wants to talk about it, it’s everywhere. It is all around us!
